Our services

As certification body,  we are accredited according to  DIN EN 45011. The accreditation covers  the controlled alternative animal husbandry for laying hens and traceability of eggs / egg products on the basis of the KAT/GGE standards.  We are also accredited to audit and certify the  IFS International Featured Standards for food processing in the product categories of meat, poultry and meat products, eggs and ready-to-consume, chilled and frozen food products.

Therefore, we offer audits and certifications for:

• KAT / GGE egg packing stations, feed manufacturers and laying farms
  
• IFS

OVO Cert GmbH is also approved for the following audits:

• Rabbit meat(GGE standard)
• Coloured eggs (GGE standard)
• Game meat (GGE standard)
• Assessments of conformity with the Baden-Württemberg quality mark (QZBW) and the Rheinland-Pfalz quality mark (QZRLP)

Through a comprehensive network of licences and contractors we can also arrange as special services a variety of time-saving and low-cost combined audits, such as:

• Combined IFS / KAT audits in egg packing stations and egg colouring plants
